Annual Toy Drive/Fundraiser 2009 To Benefit the
Children at the Salvation Army Center of Hope
Due to the current economic
situation in this country, along with many other factors, many families have lost
their homes. There are currently over
100 children living in the Salvation Army homeless shelter here in
Charlotte. This year The W.E.
Foundation is assisting in finding donations to help these children have a
brighter Christmas.
We are looking for new toys
for the younger children, as well as gifts that are suitable for young
teenagers, such as small electronics, gift cards for clothing, book, or music
stores, movie theater tickets, etc. Our
goal is to make sure that every child living in the shelter has a gift for
Christmas this year. Financial donations
are also always appreciated.
Donations are being accepted
now through December 18; all gifts will be delivered to the shelter on December
22, 2009.
